Casino Fundraiser News - We are looking for Volunteers Dec.13 & Dec.14

Our school gets a casino once every 18 months that raises about $ 18,000.00 !

We require 19 volunteers to fill various casino shifts and applications need to be processed several months in advance.

Little Ceasar's 2nd Campaign is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted orders. Orders will be delivered to Jody Mumford's house March 13 and will be ready for pick up shortly thereafter.

Purdy's Chocolates fundraising campaign is now closed. Deadline for orders waws: March 8.

Playground For Our Move in September 2013

Parent Council is busy looking for ways to get grants and fundraise for our playgroubd that will be installed in the yard of what is still going to be Fort Junior for one more year. The install should occur over the summer of 2013.

Council of School Councils (COSC)

Our Parent Council Executive sends a representative to this group. They meet several times per year to discuss items of interest to Elk Island Public Schools. They in turn can particpate in ASCA, noted below.

Alberta Education's Parent Survey

A hard copy of the annual survey is mailed to parents of students attending our Grade 4 and Grade 7 classes. Your responses are important to the education decisions that Alberta Education make. If you have any questions please do call Mrs. Luyckfassel, or email nancy.luyckfassel@eips.ca .

Students and staff will also do their version of the survey online.

Deadline for responses in February 2013.
