Cross Country / Track and Field

Members of our cross country running team will be competing in two meets both being held at Strathcona Wilderness Center in late September and early October. The cross country team is comprised of students from all grade levels who then in turn race against other EIPS students in the same age category. Following the first event which is held for all EIPS students, teams will then compete at zones which will include additional schools from around Edmonton. All permisson forms and fees for these events will be sent via permission click

The first event is on October 4th 2023 and the 2nd is on Oct 11th 2023.

2023 Div 1 Cross Country Results

In addition to the cross country running team, we will also have a track and field team that will start practicing in mid May. This team will also have afterschool practices and allows team members to participate in running events (100m 200m etc) and field events (high jump long jump shot put etc) of their choice. After our school track meet, members of this team will travel to Sherwood Park to compete at the county meet.
